Cloud & Hosting Services IaaS Specials is the power platform of client, which helps customers to realize their own virtualized power platform. The platform consists of state-of-the-art components from IBM. Currently, hundreds of servers are managed here on a daily basis. The service is standardized for environments based on AIX/AS400 and P-series. The hosting team is engaged in both the fully automated roll-out and management of the current server infrastructure and the further development thereof.The function:
The vacant position concerns that of Platform Manager IaaS Specials. The work consists of the daily implementation of changes and incidents on the IaaS Specials platform. In addition, performing various platform management activities (lifecycle management and extensions) and customer onboarding processes.
Minimum requirements are:
• HBO work and thinking level
• Knowledge and experience on AIX.
• Knowledge of / experience with Compute, eg. IBM Power systems (P-Series).
• Connectivity & storage knowledge / experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with the virtualization layer of IBM power systems. (VIO)
• More than 2 years of relevant work experience
• Good communication and writing skills
• Analytically strong and initiative-rich
