Maximo Developer, Reading, 6 months, Market Rates (Via Umbrella)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maximo Developer to join a well-known company based in Reading.
Skills:
- To analyse system requirements and to design, test, code and modify moderately complex programmes or scripts to agreed company standards. Work independently on small, less complex projects.
- Experience from a similar support or development role in supporting business critical systems in a medium/large organisation
- Experienced in developing and maintaining solutions in at least one technical platform
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle and ability to apply it to simple projects
- Excellent technical computing, analysis, design and development skills to a proven professional level
- Assisting on analysis by undertaking information gathering and analysis
- Developing and maintaining solutions to support the business, as identified by the IT Business Partner, Project Managers and Business Analysts
- Diagnosing and resolving problems with applications systems (both internal and third party) in the production environment, Assisting team members in the fixing of faults as appropriate
- Coding programs according to industry standards and specifications
- Developing test plans and test data and conducting tests
- Using development knowledge to analyse and help to create business environments
- Development level' involvement throughout the full software development life cycle
- Assisting in the maintenance of team documentation
