Description
We are currently recruiting for a Data Architect for our client in their Gibraltar offices. We are looking for someone who is experienced in the big data ecosystem within SQL and NoSQL environments, you'll be the link between business, developers and data scientists. Have interaction with a number of stakeholders in order to understand their requirements. You will provide them with excellent service.
You'll be involved in end to end Data architecture design, end to end data warehouse and big data solutions, supporting advanced analytics, work closely with the project teams and other stakeholders to meet the projects requirements aligned with architecture standards. You will collaborate with the Data Science & Engineering teams to share best practice for building data pipelines and lead the deployment and management of data quality monitoring systems.
You will also create policies and controls for the appropriate protection of enterprise information assets through a defined life cycle from acquisition or creation to end of life destruction and disposal procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, document and graph databases also. Experience with Redshift, Snowflake, Vertica, Google Big Query a plus. Cloud experience, AWS and Azure. Object function Scripting in Python, Java, Go, C++ and Big data tools such as Spark and Kafka.
