Description
An engineer is required to development software for the NFTS communication project.
The applicant is an exceptional software engineer with a proven delivery record and development skills in Scripting languages such as Jython and Python 2.0. The engineer must have a broad range of experience with software and its application to the control of electronic equipment via interface protocols.
The engineer must have experience of working in an Agile Scrum project and to be able to contribute to all stages of the Software development life cycle including development, development test and integration and deployment as well as preparing the associated documentation.
Required Skills:
Application software development using Python 2.0 and/or Jython.
Experience of working in an Agile Scrum team.
Desirable Skills:
Application software development using Java.
UML Software design using Enterprise Architect.
Implementing interface protocols, particularly using SNMP and XML.
