Overview
This is an EXCITING opportunity for a Data Governance Specialist to join a leading Ecommerce organisation based in London!
The Data Specialist will analyse market trends and key internal metrics to support governance decisions. They will contribute to establishing, documenting and enforcing data governance within the Structured Data domain.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Data management, analysis, modelling and structuring
- Setting guidelines and governing data
- Analysing site metrics and user behaviour data to inform decisions.
- Defining and documenting global data model standards
- Considering localisation and global market differences for all decision-making
Skills & Experience:
- Strong data analysis skills (eg min 2 - 3 years +)
- Any experience working with taxonomy or Datamodelling & structuring is a huge bonus
- Proficient with MS Office Suite - especially Outlook and Excel
- Data management and governing content of data
- Good experience with SQL and relational databases
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bug-tracking system JIRA or cloud-based work services such as G Suite
- Experience in E-commerce is very advantageous
- Previous experience with testing/QA tools and processes is a plus
