Our Central Government client is currently looking to recruit a DevOps Engineering Team Lead as part of their Cloud Platforming Engineering Team.
You will be responsible for leading a group of DevOps Engineers through the development and implementation of software services, tools and platform automation. You will establish core, shared platform capabilities required to enable enterprise AWS accounts and deployments as well as provide guidance to teams migrating to and operating within the cloud.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- Advanced skills in AWS Public Cloud Platform including key services, automation through Infrastructure as Code and implementation of Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Developing robust and serviceable enterprise level code
- Communicating and leading others
- AWS Certification at Associate or Professional level. Ideally AWS Solution Architect or AWS Developer/DevOps Engineer
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy government organisation on a long term 12 month initial contract.
Preference will given to candidates who hold SC Security Clearance however those eligible to apply will be considered. Please note you will need to obtain BPSS/Baseline Clearance before you can commence onsite which can take 2-4 weeks.
Please note this role has been assessed as Inside IR35 and you can operate using a umbrella or limited company.
