Sr. Application Developer - Big Data Cloud
Amazing opportunity to join a global organization developing complex applications on Cloud platforms.
Our team is focused on the development and deployment to replatform existing applications and systems supporting complex analysis. We are seeking a resource with strong solution oriented acumen, advanced Core Java, Cloud and large data sets. Strong experience developing SQL, PL/SQL and working with Big Data technologies is essential to your success here. You will work on the latest technologies and must be able to break complex problems into manageable pieces.
You will help design, build, deploy and support this new platform that will utilize Restful services, component oriented microservices architecture on a Cloud platform utilizing Big Data technologies such as Hadoop. This platform change will be transformational to the business and requires ability to collaborate with other technologists globally.
This is at least a 12 month contract position with the option to extend, based in Alpharetta. Awesome opportunity to make an impact in a highly visible position and team.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 7 years of advanced core Java, Multithreading, OOO principles
- 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications in Cloud platforms
- SQL Development, PL/SQL, packages, functions, procedures
- Microservices & Restful services
- Experience developing in an Agile environment
- Ability to design, build test, deploy and support
- Heavy Data Integration with large volumes of data
- Excellent communications skills
