eFX Digitalisation Engineer

One of my globally leading financial clients is urgently looking to hire an eFX Digitalisation Engineer to come and work from their beautiful offices in Amsterdam on an initial 6 month contract, with possibility for extension. The implementation of the Broadway application for eFX trading is a strategic project, securing our client's place in a fast-paced market. This project has strict timelines with an essential focus on delivery.

The ideal eFX Digitalisation Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

As a Technical Analyst in the client's eFX Digitalisation transformation programme, you will help deliver the key milestones to fully implement the Broadway application in the production environment. As part of a cross-border (London, Amsterdam and Bucharest) team you work in an Agile/Scrum way, on the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner and you demo your features to your fellow colleagues.

With your well balanced business and technical skills, you'll work closely with your peers to ensure all deliverables released to production are robust, secure and bug free within the defined development life cycle. In addition, you will continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and functionality.

The ideal eFX Digitalisation Engineer will must have the following skills:

* Must be graduate in Computer Science or related degree.
* Excellent knowledge of FX products and market standards & trends.
* Experience of working on eFX initiatives.
* Extensive Design/Development/Implementation of mission critical distributed systems.
* Scripting languages such as Shell, Groovy and Python.
* Database: MS SQL.

Desirable:
* Broadway TOC
* Service Now - Backlog Management, Incident Management
* Java development

Desirable:
*You understand the concept and have worked as a member of a scrum team
