Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the position of Android Developer to work in the Edinburgh location for an initial 12-month contract, whilst you will be paid on a daily rate basis, this role has been deemed as inside of IR35, contractors engaging with our client will need to go through an umbrella company.
Working within the mobile banking team, you will be working on a native Android, mobile banking application, primarily focused on new feature development.
You must have experience in native android development as well as the following:
- Proficient in both Java and Kotlin
- Familiar with Solid design principles and design patterns
- Committed to producing high quality, properly tested code
- Experienced working as part of an agile team
- Preferably experienced with Dagger 2, MVVM, and Databinding.
Initially this role will be full time at our client's offices in Edinburgh, there might be a possibility of remote work (up to 2 days a week) later in the contract. Candidates will be expected to attend the office in Edinburgh for a face to face interview as part of the recruitment process.
