Network Portal Database Engineers
This is a 12-month initial contract position
Must be able to obtain security clearance
I'm recruiting for a number of Network Portal Database Engineers to join a Global Telecoms Powerhouse in Erskine, Sctoland - you'll be responsible for the Design, Development, Installation, Configuration & ongoing Support for the Network Portal Database using Vertica as the DBMS - you'll work within a Global team, liaising between account teams & application owners to ensure Requirements are met & continuity of service is maintained.
Skills required include:
Degree in Computer Science (or similar)
3-5 years hands-on experience with Vertica DB, ETL & SQL
Hands-on experience with PHP or Perl
Practical knowledge of Linux
Practical knowledge of MySQL
Basic knowledge of CSS, HTML & JavaScript
*Rate is commensurate with experience - give me a ballpark figure*
