Python Risk Rates Developer Contract Dublin. My client a global leading firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Python Developer to join them on a contract basis for 6 months rolling (potentially up to 18 months)
My client is looking for a Python Rates Developer,As a rates Risk developer, you will be part of a tech team of for achieving the project deliverables for different initiatives in the line of business. The position demands a high degree of initiative, commitment and technical excellence. The FICC Rates Risk Tech is responsible for developing and maintaining the application for calculating the EOD and intra-day market risk for all the trades managed by Rates LOB.For this programmer role we are looking for highly motivated and experienced hands-on developers with proven ability writing elegant and maintainable Java and Python code.
Successful candidates will be experienced in technical design with a strong background/track record of working with Python, Java, Spring, Unix, Messaging. You will also have a strong background/track record of working with Python. You will have excellent problem-solving, design, development, debugging skills and enjoys solving complex technical problems. Candidates will have ideally experience in Financial Services industry. You will have strong numerical skills, and have a Strong understanding of programming paradigms such as distributed architectures and working with large data sets. You will have a Solid knowledge of contemporary development processes and be comfortable working in high pressure environment and working to deadlines. it would be seen as advantageous (so not mandatory) to have familiarity with Excel including macros and be experienced in working on Financial Risk Management applications.
