HLC/DV Cleared - Technical Author/Technical Writer
Gloucester - £545 per day - 3 - 6 months +
Working within a large dynamic team, in a busy operational environment. As a Technical Author/Technical Writer you will be working on creating and updating documentation for an infrastructure hosting solution.
Working to a list of document priorities, the Technical Author/Technical Writer will create and/or update documents with assistance of technical support team, Managing them through review and approvals.
Mandatory requirements:
- Experience of creating technical document within IT environment.
- Previously worked within ITIL-based service
Recent experience or knowledge of working with some of the following technologies, would be advantage but not essential:
- Active Directory components (Domain Services)
- Domain Name Services (DNS)
- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Services (DHCP)
- User Experience Virtualisation (UE-V)
- Application Virtualisation (App-V) local components
- Licensing (Active Directory Based Authentication)
- Windows 10 Client OS and Virtual Desktops
- File & Print Services Management (including DFS-R and DFS-N)
- System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
- System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch (SCCM)
- System Center Data Protection Manager (SCDP)
- System Center Operations Manager
- System Center Service Manager 2016
- Hyper V and Windows Failover Clustering
- Windows 10
- Windows Server 2012 R2; Windows Server 2016
- ESXi 5.1
- WSUS and Patching.
- Windows Server 2016
