Oracle Apps DBA - E-business - SOA - London - Inside IR35.

My financial services client are looking or an Oracle Apps DBA to assist them with BAU work on a 6 month rolling basis.

You will require the following experience:

Oracle Apps DBA Business as Usual (BAU) duties & responsibilities:

  • Ensure SLA are consistently met
  • Call queues maintained at consistent and manageable levels
  • Take responsibility for and keep track of escalated issues, problems and keep the customer informed
  • Adhere to the change & release management process, carry out the release at the agreed times.
  • Maintain and update all required Deployment documentation, to the JIRA tickets
  • No change made to production systems without relevant RFC or JIRA tickets approval
  • Improve and any maintain BAU in confluence
  • Documentation management
  • Maintain, update all documents in Confluence
  • Document sustainability activities for your area of responsibilities
  • Update and maintain installation and refresh documentation
  • Provide and improve monthly input into Business Systems Metrics reporting
  • Promote interaction and communication with the all Business System teams and key business stakeholders, when required
  • Time Tracker
  • Ensure that all BAU and project work is accurately captured and submitted on a weekly basis
  • Communicate in a professional and positive manner to all the stake holders and staff members.

  • E-business 12.1.3
  • SOA -
  • Weblogic 10.3.6
  • ODI - 12C
  • RAC -
  • ASM disk management experience
  • Oracle Linux 7.1
  • UCM 11.1
  • OBIEE 12C
  • OEM 13C (Monitoring)
  • Experience in Alfa, Fuse, MDP or Mercury would be advantageous.
