Description
A Junior Desktop Engineer is required for an initial 12 month contract to be based in Telford.
As a Junior Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving incidents and requests including mobile solution support, software implementation and hardware installation.
Ideally you will have some experience within desktop support and have familiarity/experience with the following technologies;
- Windows 10 and MacOS
- Microsoft Office 2016
- O365
- TCP/IP, DNS, WINS based network principles
- Hardware - Desktops, Laptops and Printers
- VPN, SCCM
- Various software products, applications and services
- WiFi Access Points
- Meeting room technology - Touchscreen TVs, OWL meeting room devices and
Crestron Sound bars - Understanding of Remote Control skills ( MSTeams, Remote Desktop, Skype)
- Knowledge of Assyst, ITSM Service Management tools
- Knowledge of Mobility Solutions (3G, Wireless)
- Active Directory Awareness
