Resource 1 is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer for a contract position in Elkridge, MD.
Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience developing dashboards and reports in either Microsoft Power BI or MicroStrategy. This position is focused on the visualization of Business Intelligence. Individual should have prior experience designing with Google Material Design language. Individual will be tasked with applying new styles through the existing system in order to affect the design requirements. Ideal candidate would have in-depth knowledge and understanding of BI tools and how to use them to develop and optimize reports and dashboards. Should also have knowledge of BI tool data structures. Agile methodology is being used for development, so prior experience is also preferred. Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to quickly grasp concepts and terminology. This will be an onsite position at the Elkridge office, with the possibility of a few days per week working from home.
