Description
We're recruiting for a number of Event/Performance Engineers to join a Global Telecoms Powerhouse near Glasgow - you'll be responsible for the Installation, Configuration & ongoing Support of Network Management applications in Event &/or Performance Management - you'll work within a Global team, liaising between account teams & application owners to ensure Requirements are met & continuity of service is maintained.
Skills required include:
- Degree in Computer Science (or similar)
- Practical knowledge of Change & Incident Management processes
- Practical knowledge of Networking technologies
- Solid understanding of Internet Standard protocols, eg SNMP
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with Network Monitoring & Performance tools, eg NETSCOUT, SolarWinds etc
- Practical knowledge of Linux as well as PHP, Perl or SQL
