Contract role: Head of Open Data (TripleStore)
Location: London
Contract duration: 6 months (Inside of IR35)
Skills Required:
Essential:
*Experience with TripleStore is required*
*Expert understanding of data science, data management and search logic
*Strong experience of leading data science and data discovery projects and initiatives, and of developing services built from data
*Deep understanding of open data platforms and their successful operation.
Specific technical services required:
.Microsoft Azure based solution development and delivery
.Platform design, development and operation based on TripleStore services
.Microsoft .NET Core based development
.API harvesting and publishing as open data
.Ontology solutions including OWL onotologies and schema.org
.Taxonomy solutions (Smartlogic Ontology Manager or comparable)
.Experience of library science solutions, ideally SKOS
.OWL onotologies
.SPARQL
.RDFa
.Apache Solr
Java development experience as a number of the third party tools we used have been built using it so familiarity would be useful
