Our client has a need for an experienced Java Developer.
Job Details:
This position is responsible for writing the most complex programs of a development project as well as maintaining and supporting existing applications. This position is also responsible for translating business requirements into effective and efficient computer systems for large projects or a sub-system of a larger project. This person will be capable of completing the detail design phase of a project by preparing program specifications.
This position is responsible for the design, coding, unit and system testing, documentation, assisting in training and implementation of projects, programs, work flows, etc. which are assigned by the Project Manager/Leader.
This position is responsible for maintaining a very high level of technical expertise on all operating systems, software and hardware platforms.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years technical experience in design, development, testing & development of JEE Web application and services development connecting to a Relational database platform
Well defined communication skills and a demonstrated aptitude of working with both the technical teams and end-users for requirements, design, and support activities
Experience with the following technologies is required:
- Utilize Java, JEE & Relational database platform like Oracle
- Proficient in Web Development tools, technologies and models such as Eclipse, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JSP, Tiles, JDBC, JavaScript, JQuery, Maven/Ant, Java Web Services, Git, JIRA, etc.
- Knowledge of Angular, Angular JS, and Microservices will be a plus.
- Knowledge and experience using PLSQL programming will be a plus
