Senior Full Stack Engineer
One of my market leading clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a Senior Full stack Engineer for a long-term contract paying excellent rates. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:
- 5+ years of full stack development experience with good hands on experience in Java and J2EE frameworks.
- Code quality matters for you and writing good code excites you.
- You believe in Test Driven Development and write good integration tests, unit tests and love to have good coverage.
- Excellent knowledge of Back End development in Java and you love to talk about Java and coach your peers on architecture and best practices.
- Working knowledge on designing and building Rest-JSON API's, SOA and Event Driven Design(s).
- Experience with Git, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins, SONAR, Grunt/Gulp, NodeJS, Bower.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cassandra)
- Hands on knowledge of message broker(s) and event bus(es) like Apache Kafka, Active MQ
- Knowledge of Performance Testing with one of the frameworks like nGrinder, Gatling, Apache JMeter
- Knowledge of Front End development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of Hystrix, Finagle
- Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate or any ORM tools.
The Senior Full Stack Engineer will perform the following responsibilities:
In this agile team you will help to work on the purpose of your team, side-by-side with Customer Journey Experts and User Experience designers to build capabilities and platform to enable personalised events for different customer journey(s). The team creates a differentiating experience for our customer(s) by providing relevant journeys using multiple user(s) context(s) based on what we already know about our customers and what our customers tell us. The team will deliver a platform for enabling tailored journeys based on analysing data points which will enable different life events to have a personalised experience(s).
