Network Engineer (Dutch Speaker) - Antwerp, Belgium
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join one of Europe's largest and fastest growing clients in a progressive and busy international team on a 12 month contract in Antwerp, Belgium.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of recent network administration experience in a medium-sized multi-location environment (200+ users) - State max number of years experience.
- Must have high level of understanding of a variety of networking equipment, including Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Switches and layer 3 Switches.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies and WAN communications including TCP/IP (routing and subnetting), QoS, BGP, OSPF IPSec, etc
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN/WIFI.
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF
- Experience with WAN Acceleration products -Riverbed Steelhead
COMPETENCIES and SKILLS:
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment, proactive, team player
- Willingness and skill to mentor junior staff members
- Ability to work occasional evening for project and coverage needs.
- Fluent in Dutch, English, French is a plus
LOCALISATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:
- 5% travel both domestically and internationally may be required.
