Description

Title:- Pension Advisor

Type:- Contract

Duration:- 9 months

Location:- Blackpool, Lancashire

Reports directly to the Head of Finance and will also be required to work closely with the company Director of Finance.

Role requirements:

  • Contract manage the Pensions contracts.
  • Act as single point of expertise for Pensions related queries.
  • Provide Accounting Officer with the necessary assurances as to the compliant operation and administration of the company pension scheme on an ongoing basis.
  • Work collaboratively with HR payroll colleagues to assure the compliant operation of pension arrangements.
  • Undertake regular quality assurance reviews of Shared Services pension processes and those operated at the company pension scheme provider.

Experience and skills:

  • Experience of overseeing the effective operation of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pensions schemes.
  • Good communicator - able to present complex information in a succinct and informative manner.
  • Detailed knowledge of current pensions legislation.
  • Conversant with requirements of the Pensions regulator.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills.
  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • Professional gravitas to operate a senior level.
