Title:- Pension Advisor
Type:- Contract
Duration:- 9 months
Location:- Blackpool, Lancashire
Reports directly to the Head of Finance and will also be required to work closely with the company Director of Finance.
Role requirements:
- Contract manage the Pensions contracts.
- Act as single point of expertise for Pensions related queries.
- Provide Accounting Officer with the necessary assurances as to the compliant operation and administration of the company pension scheme on an ongoing basis.
- Work collaboratively with HR payroll colleagues to assure the compliant operation of pension arrangements.
- Undertake regular quality assurance reviews of Shared Services pension processes and those operated at the company pension scheme provider.
Experience and skills:
- Experience of overseeing the effective operation of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pensions schemes.
- Good communicator - able to present complex information in a succinct and informative manner.
- Detailed knowledge of current pensions legislation.
- Conversant with requirements of the Pensions regulator.
- Strong spreadsheet skills.
- Proven track record in a similar role.
- Professional gravitas to operate a senior level.
