Application Performance Analyst - Application Performance Management (APM) - Wiltshire, Outside IR35

Role
They are seeking a performance engineer skilled in the use of APM products to analyse some of their mission critical web-based software applications and advise them of any bottlenecks that may be causing performance problems, problems which manifest themselves to the end user as "the system running slow".
Brief
- Understand how their systems are architected
- Recommend and introduce tools and loggings to measure the performance of the end-to-end user experience
- Identify bottlenecks and latency issues, report to the team
- Draft a set of proposals for improvement
- Implement the proposed improvements first into Test then into Live
Experience and knowledge
- Microsoft Windows IIS, SQL Server, query optimisation
- .Net Framework and MVC
- Tools such as, SQL Monitor and APM tools
- Load testing (VSO/JMeter/etc)
- Angular, Bootstrap, Telerik (etc)
- Datawarehousing + batch
- Programming principles, system architecture, deployment practice
Experience tuning E-commerce and database applications, reviewing configurations, rearchitecting, extending cache, building highly scalable websites.
£ per day, 3 month contract, based Wiltshire, outside IR35
