Description

A World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Data Trust Advisor. You would act as Project Manager for this is short term project of 3-6 months and would suit someone with a data/marketing background.

About the Role:
.Define a set of guidelines/handrails which sit above and beyond Data Privacy regulations to guide the business when planning work in the following areas and support them in considering that whilst something may be legal, should we be doing using data in such a way inc. for example - how to minimise or mitigate against unintended consequences.
.The guidelines should be relevant to all levels of the organisation and help to provide a clear and consistent company position for individuals across the globe to use - this is particularly important given the varying ethical tolerances across the globe.

.Data Analytics
.Biometric Data
.Artificial Intelligence (alignment required here with AI working group)
.Children's Data

External Data Ethics Code of Practice
.Define an externally facing Data Ethics code of practice which is based on the Internal Data Ethics Code of Practice but positioned at a higher level and for an external audience to state company position on the above.
Checklist for project review boards
*Develop a simple checklist for project review boards (Steercos) to review projects against to identify projects where further ethical discussions are required before a project is given the go-ahead

Data Trust KPIs
*Define a set of Data Trust KPIs which can be used to monitor levels of data trust in company eg Mobile App downloads, No. of Right to Erasure requests.
Vendor Selection process criteria
*A defined set of criteria to add to existing vendor selection criteria based on the code of practice to ensure that applications and solutions purchased by company are in line with company's data ethics values

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
