Java C# FX Developer - Low latency Grid Distributed - Investment Bank
Java developer with some C# required. Reporting to the head of FX Booking and Position development, this role involves working with traders and other dev teams as part of a small team to develop and maintain this reliable system managing millions of transactions.
You must have very strong skill in core Java and C# development, low latency, multi-threaded programming and performance optimisation. Practiced in test driven development approaches. Grid distributed, fault tolerant architecture. Oracle coherence. Fair understanding of FX cache products is required
Role:
This is a high-pressure role in a Front Office IT environment and previous exposure to such environment is essential. The role will suit a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and has a strong technical, analytical and communication skills. The role involves communicating with front-line support teams, business users where appropriate, and other application teams that use the team's products
