Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation based in Edinburgh, are currently looking to recruit a Project Support Officer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £/day (inside of IR35).The Role:
Project Support Officer with key responsibility for development and implementation of office procedures and protocols and ensuring compliance with Best Practice in Programme and Project methodologies.
Requirements:
Project management background and/or experience working in a project office environment.
Experience of co-ordinating all Project Phases including Proposal, Initiation, Design, Implementation, Closure and Review.
Experience of diary co-ordination and arranging meetings together with all related duties.
Minute taking skills.
Ability to manage a diverse workload while ensuring the provision of a high quality service.
Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines in a changing environment without the requirement for direct supervision.
Good knowledge of methodologies and techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
Team working experience, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a well-developed organisational ability.
Desirable Skills:
Formal programme and project management training eg PRINCE2 .
