Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experienced Citrix Application Packager to be based at their established client based in Manchester.
Our client moving their applications from their old Citrix solution to a new one, the migration also involves a change of MFA solution that is integrated with the new Citrix Farm so you will need to administer tokens

Location: Manchester
Contract Length: 2 Months +
Day Rate: Negotiable - INSIDE IR35
Key Responsibilities
Migrate Remaining Applications:
Work closely with service groups to identify and gather requirements and then deliver them into a new Citrix environment. You will be working within a Windows operating environment and will utilise standard packaging tools. You will also support Citrix access control, FS Logic, policy enforcement and application publishing. The Application Packager will have a strong background delivering Citrix solutions into new environments based upon user requirements. You will have strong communication skills and able to interpret requirements into workable packaging solutions..
Transfer 3rd Party Access:
Carry out the technical tasks associated with moving users off the old Citrix farm to the new one. This also involves a changeover of MFA token, which is closely integrated with the Citrix solution. The resource will need to help administer tokens. A short OJT session will be provided to enable this if required.
Decommission Old Citrix:
Decommission the old Citrix Solution without service outage (minus agreed risks regarding third parties that can't be identified.
Key Skills

Citrix:

Experienced in Citrix support and migration projects.

Experienced in identifying application issues then planning and executing the remedial work.

Experienced in provisioning access and policy controls to adhere to license and security requirements.

Experience in FS Logic integration to Citrix.

Wintel:

Experience in Windows desktop, server, and services sufficient to not need additional resource in the line of their work.

MFA:

Experience in auditing and administration of MFA solutions, preferably Swivel. However sufficient experience on other solutions that would enable quick learning to provision Tokens would be acceptable. Once again this removes dependency on other resource.

Customer engagement:

Professional manner and comfortable communicating with technical and business leaders to ascertain requirements and facilitate testing.

ITSM:

Experienced with ITSM tools, preferably Ivanti. However sufficient experience on other solutions that would enable quick learning to create RFCs would be acceptable. Once again this removes dependency on other resource
