DevOps Engineer - Active Security Clearance - AWS - Docker - Kubernetes
We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a massive Global Consultancy who require a DevOps Engineer for one of their Public sector Clients. This will be a 5-month contract based in London.
- Strong Kubernetes experience required
- Must have Active SC CLearance
- GDS experience
- Kubernetes Cluster Administration
- IaC expertise in Terraform and Ansible
- Comfortable on the main Linux distros as well as solid understanding of Containerization (Docker) technologies
- Working within an agile context with the use of CI
- Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
- Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
- The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
- The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.
- K8s ecosystem knowledge of cutting-edge tools such as Flux, Istio, Helm
- Aware of modern Security Principles: Network policies, Security groups, ACLs, RBAC
- Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)
- Hashicorp tools (Packer and Vault)
- Knowledge and exposure to CI systems other than Jenkins. (Concourse, Drone, Circle, etc.)
