(Dutch speaker) Business Controller urgently required for interesting contract in Amsterdam
As Business Controller you are driven by new developments in your field of expertise. Connecting people comes naturally to you in a way that you are able to link different stakeholders. Your knowledge and expertise make you a valued sparring partner. Your analytical skills are well developed and you know how to challenge the relevant (international) environment on various levels. Your excellent communication skills give you the ability to develop effective working relationships. You are proactive and focus on achieving results. Key tasks of this employee will be supporting the investment cost reporting and support the departments ongoing activities. For this demanding position we seek a candidate who is result oriented, and has; An experienced business controller with a hands-on mentality. RA/RC titlle is preferred as well as experience in the asset management industry. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can get up to speed quickly and works independently as well as together with the team.
The (Dutch speaker) Business Controller will ideally have the following skills and expertise:
* A positive critical attitude;
* A proven affinity with asset management and financial products, their characteristics and the administration;
* A strong affinity with excel and data tools;
* Experience with data management and data visualization,
* A post-doctoral education to Registered Controller, Registered accountant, CFA or VBA (completed) is preferred;
* At least 5 years of experience in the field of finance and preferably within asset management;
* An excellent and detailed understanding of financial processes and financial & management accounting, as well as investment cost and investment returns;
* Good communication and organizational skills;
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
