My client a leading insurance company is looking for a Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer To be Technical resource and liaison for Platforms for the Support of Production and UAT environments. This role will be a key contributor in Change and Release and Incident and Configuration Management. It will also cover all applications supported by platforms.
- Experience of configuration of MS Servers, PCs, and networks.
- Experience of MS-SQL database installation and management.
- Excellent knowledge of the software development process.
- Sound analysis skills.
- Excellent trouble-shooter.
- To act as a Work Package Manager for the controlled delivery of Releases and new Systems/Implementations
- To own Change and Release co-ordination
- To play an active role in Incident management
- Familiarity of workflow solutions ideally bizflow
- VBScript and Javascript
- Experience with reporting ideally Crystal
