Rate:

£450p/day

Role Summary/Purpose

In this role, you will be working in the Production Controls business and you will develop products and provide solutions to meet client deliverables in the Subsea project's portfolio. You will utilise your experience and expertise to develop subsea products to effect short-term and long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Engagement with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships to meet project deliverables.
  • Generation of technical procurement specifications, parts and document suites, specific to specific to subsea Instrumentation. Typical listing would be:
    • Wet Gas Flow Meter (WGFM)
    • Multi-Phase Flow Meter (MPFM)
    • Chemical Injection Metering Valve (CIMV)
    • Acoustic Sand Detector (ASD)
    • Electrical Flying Leads (EFLs)
    • Pressure Temperature Sensors (PTs)
    • Others
  • Task ownership while working under the guidance of lead and controlled title engineers.
  • Ensuring that product design conforms to the requirements specifications.
  • Promoting Compliance, Quality & EHS integrity through developing succinct procedures, work instructions, product and process related documentation and creatively promote their use.
  • Continuously contribute to department and site goals and objectives.
  • Takes responsibility in working across global SPS Engineering Teams to deliver solutions to assigned work packages.
  • Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work to agreed schedules.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with instrumentation suppliers to bring about OTD and evolve the product.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Metatronics background or interest
  • Flow assurance knowledge or interest
  • Some experience within an engineering environment.
