I am looking for a mobile engineer to join a software development company who are launching an office in London for a long term contract to work on some of their most notable projects.
This client work with a number of high profile tech companies and this role is to sit across 2-3 projects with these clients on some really cool products. By the nature of who they work with, a ton of the project specific deliverables are under NDA but can be disclosed further through the process.
I have managed to get some responsibilities outlined below.
Skillset wise we need someone who has extensive knowledge and experience working on C++ engineering and development. The projects specifically is working on a an android mobile application so we need someone who has expert knowledge and experience with Android SDK. Understanding android frameworks and services Is a must have also.
The responsibilities of the role will be based around
*Fixing bugs and diagnosing these bugs within a system
*Bring up on the system on new hardware
*changing and transferring new functionality onto the more up to date versions of Android
*code customisation and updating of external libraries, firmware and drivers.
Location wise it will be central London, exact location TBC.
The contract looks as though it will be 6 months up front with multiple work streams signed off to last well beyond 2020.
They are happy to wait for the right candidate but I do believe the longest we could wait would be a 4 week notice period.
