Physical Layer Engineer - ASAP Start - €80 p/h - 12 Month Project - Paris - Some Remote WorkMy client is a major player in the telecommunications industry looking to expand their R&D team to assist in pushing forwards their 5G research project. This role will focus on pressing the current boundaries of 5G architecture with the end goal of discovering cost effective solutions for the current issues that are being face.
This is a long term project and whilst there is an initial contract of 12 months, the client have expressed that if both parties are satisfied there is an option to extend.
We're looking to get this role filled ASAP and have interview slots pencilled in from 16/3.
Requirements:
- Advanced MS or PhD in Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering
- Strong background in one or several disciplines of digital communication theory, wireless communications, signal processing, RF architecture
- Deep knowledge of PHY layer 1 algorithms, such as precoding, decoding and scheduling algorithms.
- Strong background in digital communication theory, wireless communications, signal processing.
- Substantial experience with wireless system performance evaluation and optimization. Experience in Matlab, Python, C, C++ programming languages.
