Within the DEPARTMENT of IT Infrastructure Delivery we are looking for a System/security Engineer.. You're part of the "Voice and Data"team. This team is dedicated to all aspects of networking (LAN, WAN, WIFI, DMZ, security, load balancing) and VOIP telephonenie (Skypeand genesys call centers).
The function consists primarily of architecture, engineering and operational support tasks around network and security aspects and secondary in telephony. Thanks to your in-depth technical knowledge of IP, network protocols,, security infrastructure and their market evolutions, you contribute to the complete management of the existing environments, and to the "life cycle" and technological evolution thereof.
Your tasks include:
-Moderately install, configure and integrate network and voice infrastructure components according to agreed or new architecture.
-You analyse and monitor the impact of new releases and installations of additional components.
-Furthermore, you are also involved in business projects with network or voice related aspects such as load balancers, firewall rules, etc.
-Monitor the security of the systems by keeping them up-to-date on the one hand and on the other hand critically reviewing security logs/logs and dashboards
Both proactive and problem-solving you work on maximum availability of end-user systems (incident analysis, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, tuning, architecture optimization, security ), and follow the operational processes and procedures agreed around
Profile
-You are Bilingual - English and (French or Dutch)
-You have at least a master's degree,or equivalent through experience.
-You have a strong affinity with network security
-Knowledge of load balancing and F5 big-IP : APM, LTM, ASM is an advantage
-Extensive technical knowledge of networking (LAN switching, rotation, MPLS, dark fibre, firewalls, Radius, NAC, SSL/VPN, load balancing, SIEM) is arequirement.
-You work project-wise,sophisticatedand methodological.
-You like to consult with colleagues and you are satisfied if you have provided excellent service.
-You always have an eye for the high availability of the infrastructure you manage.
-Specifically, you will work with hardware of Cisco, Extreme networks,F5, palo alto, fortigate,exabeam; experiencewith several of these constructors is a plus.
