Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior SD-WAN in Reading on a contract/ permanent basis.

The role involves;
  • Supporting client and internal teams with understanding, design, and implementation of the end to end stack for SDWAN, from core central network stack to CPEs, to services that run over the networks.
  • Advise Development and QA teams on the testing that will be required to achieve operational KPIs and meet enterprise customer SLAs.
  • Identify gaps and weak points so that clients can deliver and scale up managed enterprise networking services leveraging SDWAN, and as required, hybrid services comprising MPLS and DIA.
  • Troubleshoot, triage and diagnose issues identified either during testing or from customer complaints/trouble ticketing.
  • Recommend network configuration and testing strategy changes to improve performance, scalability, and time to market of new features and releases.


The ideal candidate will have;
  • Strong understanding and experience of enterprise network services including IP/MPLS, NFV, and SDN.
  • Demonstrable experience working with major NEPs solutions, including one or more of Cisco, Juniper Networks, Nokia, VMWare, Silver Peak, Riverbed etc. You are ideally certified in one or more of these vendors technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networks including Layer 2 and Layer 3 fundamentals.
  • Experience of different CPE design and deployment across ASRs and ISRs.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
