Key Responsibilities include:· Identifying and designing test automation across functional, integration, performance, security and regression test phases.
· Review and advise product owners and development teams to ensure that acceptance criteria and test requirements are included from the outset.
· Research and implement new technologies, methodologies and ideas that can improve the operations.
· Ensure traceability and reporting of all testing.
· Act as a champion of quality with client and internal teams, highlighting and quantifying risks so that senior stakeholders can balance quality, speed and cost against their overall goals.
· Translate requirements into test scripts and automated approaches.
· You will bring the latest innovations in software development to the delivery of managed enterprise network services - especially with software defined networks and 5G.
Your Key Competencies:
· Strong understanding and experience of software engineering and test automation.
· Experience of implementing test automation frameworks and industry tools for UI, CLI, API, REST, Netconf and Yang.
· Hands-on experience with one or more programming frameworks including Python, Robot, Selenium, Java.
· Experience delivering test automation in Agile and DevOps with CI/CD.
· Strong communicator with ability to quickly build relationships with client stakeholders.
· Experience of defining KPIs and metrics covering quality, speed and cost, across the development lifecycle.
