IT Digital Workplace Services (Packager) Consultant - Luxembourg (EU Based Candidates)
Languages: ENGLISH speaking
Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in managing and operation of IT hardware, software, communications and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of the business.
Description of work:
- Performing application delivery in a Workstation environment, including performing application discovery, application packaging, software distribution and troubleshooting/problem determination.
- Program automated installation code that enables a software application, update or patch to be sent electronically to an end user Workstation or device within a client environment.
- Use a variety of tools to create a software package that replicated the manual install of the application with desired options and settings and uses a variety of tools to perform the electronic software distribution.
- Perform integration testing of the package to ensure the software will successfully install electronically on the targeted client endpoints within the targeted environment.
- Perform detailed problem determination in order to repair and rerun any failed electronic updates.
- Produces detailed reports on the results of the job's execution.
