DB2 Lead - DB2 SME requirement for an urgent start. The DB2 Lead - DB2 SME will be working for a market leading payments client.
DB2 Lead - DB2 SME Key Skills:
Responsible for Migration for DB2 UDB Database from 9.5/9.7 to Higher versions like .
Planning POC, Application remediation and Managing cutover of critical highly available databases.
Schema logical and physical modelling and design experience to evaluated current schemas and migrate to New schemas.
Should have managed the Migration of HADR, DPF and other highly available banking or similar mission critical databases.
Providing technical assistance and resolving the application issue during migration.
Should have experience in Installation, Fixpack Upgrade, Migration
Should have experience in Backup and Restore (various restore methodologies)
Should be well versed with advanced concepts HADR with TSA and replication
Should possess outstanding database performance tuning and query tuning
Should have experience in various DB2 utilities like LOAD/IMPORT/EXPORT/DB2MOVE and RUNSTATS/REORG
Should have knowledge on latest concepts of DB2 v10.1/v10.5
Should have experience on Fixpack upgrade and Version Upgrades/Migration.
Experience on Shell Scripting is an added advantage
Provide DBA support on all aspects of databases administration including backup/recovery, replication, deployment and Real Time production troubleshooting responsibilities on DB2 LUW databases with DPF.
Must have exceptional knowledge and experience supporting: DB2 LUW database technology on AIX 6.1/7.1 environments.
Backup/Recovery/HADR for DB2 LUW databases, including tape backup and storage mirroring technologies.
Troubleshooting end-to-end performance related issues including application code, database performance, OS/Server performance, along with network and storage related issues.
Conducive approach when working with other infrastructure support organizations like Server operations, Storage operations, Backup operations, and application development and management teams.
Monitor and maintain database in production and non- production environments
