Roku Developer/Brightscript Developer - Broadcast
Handle is working with a Global TV network to help them find a senior Roku Developer. In this initial 6 months contract your role will focus on the creation of new world-class Sports VoD and streaming platform. This is an exciting brand new project under a brand that will be used by millions worldwide.
MAIN PURPOSE
Software Design & Implementation of mobile Application.
Key requirements for the Roku Developer:
- Software development experience preferably Brightscript/Roku
- Design and Architectural patterns and knows when to apply them
- CI/CD/DevOps/Kanban
- In-depth understanding of Linux, tools, libraries and open source development.
- Ability to work in both user and Kernel space.
- media playback engines and streaming protocols.
