Environments Manager- Leading European Bank
An exciting opportunity exists for an Environment Manager at a leading European Bank. Our client is currently working on their biggest ever transformation which aims to run entirely from the cloud, making them the first bank in Europe to achieve this.
Location: Remote Work/Latvia
Duration: 6 months rolling
Daily Rate: Markets Rates
Your Role:
As the Environment Manager, you will manage the software development estate, ensuring good capacity, good development environment, solid configuration management and service management approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the supply and provision of all Application Environment Requirements from the Project and Test teams throughout the software development cycle of the various projects
- Create, review, attest, communicate and enforce robust IT environment management policies, processes and procedures that are understood by internal and external stakeholders; to ensure environment management activities adhere to Industry best practice, effectively interfaces with other IT processes, and provides a quality and consistent approach.
- Design, develop, implement and review the environment management framework, tools and resource requirements to ensure that all managed environments
- Daily oversight and direct line management of a team supporting the estate
- Using your strong technical expertise, you will enforce technical methodology, and practice and monitor technical excellence.
- Mature and simplify our tech portfolio, make material and measurable improvements to speed of delivery
Key Requirements:
- Understand ITIL as Service Management (COBIT, Incident/Problem Management)
- Significant demonstrable experience of environment management
- Experience of working with project teams to define environment requirements
- Experience of operational management in a customer and third party focused, productivity targeted environment.
- Experience in a Financial services environments
