Job Title - Senior Internal Communications Channels Manager
Location - Milton Keynes
Rates - £373.46 a day LTD OR £326.08 a day PAYE

About the role/project:

To develop and deliver high-quality, engaging internal campaigns to build engagement with Network Rail's employees and communicate key leadership messages and strategies to the business. Responsible for implementing a campaign framework and activity for successful interpretation and delivery of strategic employee campaigns across Network Rail.

Your experience will include:

1.Develop, follow and monitor adherence to the editorial policy, governance and guidelines for internal communications channels.
2.Develop and deliver content to time and production deadlines, with the appropriate tone, language, content and house-style and aligned to Network Rail strategic messages.
3.Use formal and informal measurement data to evaluate the effectiveness of the internal communications channels and their content, as well as to improve future communications.
4.Develop, publish and deliver to production schedules for internal communication channels, and deliver all channels and related activities within agreed financial budgets.
5.Use strong understanding of the business' strategic goals, performance and audience to provide informed communications support to stakeholders and deliver clear and compelling communications to the audience.
6.Manage and lead direct reports, developing, motivating and inspiring high-performing, strategic internal communications professionals.
7.Work collaboratively with the wider Communications team to develop and deliver joined-up internal and external communications.

Essential
*Substantial experience leading the planning, development, delivery and measurement of communications channels
*Relevant experience in internal communication, including dedicated internal communications role(s)
*Ability to successfully influence and manage stakeholder relationships at a senior level
*Ability to shape and deliver key messages to various audiences and their individual needs
*Excellent written skills, demonstrating ability to write for different mediums
*Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
*Experience managing and developing team members
*Strong attention to detail

Desirable
*Experience in journalism or copywriting
*Evidence of continuing professional development
*Experience delivering internal communications that support cultural and organisational change
*Experience working with Media teams and other corporate affairs disciplines to deliver joined-up internal and external communications
*Experience of successfully managing a budget
*Experience using creative, innovative and cost-effective means of communicating to a disperse audience
