Background
In order to deliver insight to our clients decision makers at global, local and store level, the Decision Intelligence product in Strategy and Business Planning digital capability area delivers a range of dashboard-based solutions, including Flight Tower, Reporting Hub, Cost to Serve and Multichannel KPI Dashboard. In particular with new requirements for Flight Tower, the structure of the team delivering this product has recently extended from two scrum teams to three. In order to meet the increased delivery support needs of the teams, we are therefore adding a third Scrum Master to our Agile organisation. We will introduce further new products across CA Strategy and business planning during FY2020 and this requires extensive attention on the user interaction and communication with our team, stakeholders and users.

The Scrum Master will support and co-ordinate all team activities including organization of key ceremonies (Epic boards, programme increments, sprint planning/retrospective/demo sessions, and ensure that quality of documentation in Aha and Jira meets requirements of the capability area and also the Digital Roadmap team. This will free up other roles on the team (eg software developers and data analysts) to do their core work. In the short term, we will look for opportunities for the Scrum Master will also provide ad hoc support to other scrum teams in Strategy and Business Planning capability area (ie Advanced Analytics, Commercial Planning and RCA Digitization) in order to limit headcount in those products and save money.
