Developer - Adobe Photoshop - Acrobat - SQL Server - Insurance
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Developer with Business Systems Analyst skills to assist the roll out of a tool which has been developed to assist Underwriters & UAs
Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the existing team (1 Developer, 1 BSA and 1 Project Manager)
  • Produce software technical specifications for development solutions
  • Ensure products have been produced according to company procedures and standards
  • Assist with solution design and in the preparation of system test plans
  • Liaise with systems/infrastructure teams to ensure successful deployment of developed products to live environment
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers of the department
  • Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to the commitment to placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity.

Skills and Experience
  • Adobe Photoshop experience
  • Adobe Acrobat PDF stamp development
  • Knowledge of developing applications using ASP.NET, C#, Javascript, WPF
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server TSQL
  • Experience of the design and development of application databases on SQL Server
  • Strong oral and written communicate skills
  • The ability to work on their own as well as in a team environment
  • Produce technical support documentation
  • Experience of writing technical specifications
  • Experience of working within the full development life cycle ie development, unit testing and release
  • Experience of Azure/DevOps would be beneficial
  • PowerShell Scripting experience
Key Performance Indicators
  • Knowledge of developing applications in an enterprise organisation. Experience of writing good quality source
  • code that is fit for purpose
