Role:
Reporting into the Lead Insurance Reserving Actuary, this position will provide actuarial support for the Insurance Segment Reserving team, coordinating the quarterly reserving process for the Segment and liaising with various Segment and Corporate functions.
Key Points:
Reserving
Assist with the peer review of the Insurance Segment quarterly reserve analysis and validate selected actuarial estimates.
Assist with the peer review and validation of Segment key actuarial assumptions and methods.
Coordinate underwriter and Claims meetings for the quarterly reserving process.
Other:
Perform additional project work including deep dives of Insurance and Reinsurance lines of business.
Assist in the annual Planning exercise, liaising closely with Pricing and Risk Functions.
Provide support for other Group Functions (Finance, Risk, Investments) as required.
Collect and aggregate external benchmark data for use in the peer review process.
