Description
Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the position of Copy Editor, which can be based in either the Edinburgh or Aberdeen location for initially 12 weeks, this role has been deemed as inside of IR35. Due to the current COVID19 situation, candidates will be interviewed and on-boarded remotely with working from home throughout the lockdown period.
The main responsibility for this role is to work on our clients CMS system and to update content for all company websites. Working alongside other people in the business to raise issues and gather content.
Other Duties:
- The scope of this role includes over 100 sites (English and non-English) where documents exist
- Communicate and allocate issues with relevant owners to resolve where you are unable to
- Track of issue resolution to completion
- Copyediting and proof checking.
- Establishing, maintaining and enhancing author relations.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in an editorial role, working on a wide range of titles including digital products, or other relevant experience.
