Site Reliability Engineer - GCP

Outstanding opportunity to join a leading global organization as a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, security and performance of this complex environment.

We are seeking a dynamic resource who can creatively engineer complex solutions to operational challenges in a GCP environment. A transformation mind set and approach is critical to helping this enterprise adopt new Cloud technologies and deliver high performing services.

Your experience should include a background in Enterprise infrastructure and progressive experience in IAAS, CI/CD, GCP, SRE and ability to design, build and remediate at a high level resulting in increased performance, security and scaleability. This environment works with large data sets, so experience with Big Data support and integration is necessary as well. Strong troubleshooting, automation and integration are required.

This is at least a 12 month contract position with the option to extend, based in Alpharetta. Awesome opportunity working with leading technologies, have a high level of influence and collaborate for best in class solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 7 years of progressive Infrastructure engineering
  • 1+ years of experience engineering Google Cloud Platform, GCP, in large enterprise environments
  • Proven Solutioning, Engineering and troubleshooting inn IAAS, CI/CD, SRE environments
  • Performance monitoring of enterprise infrastructure and applications
  • Automation and orchestration skills - Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Languages - Java, Python, Perl, Javascript, Bash
  • Cross functional knowledge of Databases, security, networking, Storage
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communications skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Hadoop, Hive, Map Reduce
  • Terraform, Cloudformation
