Description
Our client in Colorado Springs is looking for an ETL Developer with strong SQL skills. Work entails supporting over 140 jobs that ingest data into our client's Hadoop data lake, so experience with Hadoop is a big plus. Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Syncsort DMX, or Informatic is preferred. Our client has two shifts available: one standard business hours shift and one overnight shift. Required:
* 4 years writing SQL queries (proven experience)
* Linux environment experience, including exposure to bash Scripting
Plusses:
* Experience working in a Hadoop environment, utilizing tools such as Hue, SQOOP, Hive, and HDFS
* Experience with Putty, WinSCP or other SSH/SCP tools
* Experience working with ETL tools (SSIS, Syncsort DMX-h, Informatica)
