* Senor Software Engineer - Contract- Dublin.*
I am currently working exclusively with one of the most customer centric clients of mine who wants to bring on 3 Senior software engineers to build out their brand new operations and roadmap here in Dublin. You will be working on building out their payments division, helping to build out their multi-currency platform. The project will help build out their currency integration system for both Euro and GBP payments as it is largely focused on American dollars currently.
Customer is very comfortable with remote interviewing and on boarding and this is a company where you will get an opportunity to have a real say and impact on the technical direction in which they decide, while having a positive impact on the current economic outlook for millions of their customer base.
Core Skills required:
- 5+ year's experience in a similar position
- Python or any other programming language with at least 1 year of commercial experience with Python
- MySQL
- Kafka
- Exposure to AWS
Requirements
- Excellent communicator & collaborator: uses their own initiative and will challenge the team
- 5 + years' experience commercial experience
- You have experience shipping quality code, releasing early, and iterating rapidly.
- You understand relational databases and how to utilize them effectively.
- Comfortable in dealing with RESTful APIs.
