Description

My client is a prominent and highly regarded global consultancy, urgently seeking a release traine engineer to assist in scaling their business in Bucharest.

They have a solid grasp of how to scale Lean and Agile practices and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with facilitating and continuously aligning a large programme.

Responsibilities:

  • DevOps background Devops using the scaled agile framework SAFe
  • Facilitate programme level ceremonies such as PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt workshops, Product Owner (PO) sync, System Demoss and Scrum of Scrum
  • Work closely with functional management to highlight and help remove impediments impacting development teams
  • Escalate programme level risks and issues needing management attention
  • Manage dependencies between delivery teams within or across various Release Trains
  • Gather and report performance information (eg PI burn down data) and communicate metrics to ensure transparency on programme status
  • Track and manage execution against programme release goals
  • Ensure continuous communication between Product Owners and programme stakeholders including Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts
  • Support setting and communication of programme priorities to teams
  • Embody the Lean-Agile mindset and champion the values and goals of Elekta's SAFe transformation
  • Be transparent in all you do while being coachable yourself ie be open to feedback
  • Provide visibility into gaps, issues, risks and opportunities across Agile teams, escalating where applicable and resolving where possible
  • Aggregates and drives team Program Increment (PI) objectives into Programme/Release objectives to ensure alignment with business and successful delivery
  • Mentor and coach to Agile Release Train (ARTs) on Agile/Lean/SAFe Principles
  • Participates in enterprise programme management improvement and standardisation activities. Encourages collaboration between solution architects and Agile teams Authorities N/A Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Significant experience as an RTE or Scrum Master
  • Experience in facilitation/moderation of large-scale events and workshops
  • Successful track record with agile methodologies - 3+ years of project experience in an agile environment
  • Experience in hardware engineering strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint
