Description
We are looking for a senior/experienced NUTANIX System Administrator (SYSAD) - Server, Backup and Storage Management.
You will be required to install, connect, configure, maintain, manage & administer, move and/or decommission, as needed all ICT infrastructure for the client.
In particular:
- Operational management of the ICT production environment for HQ and Delegations
- Debugging and analysing of reported problems and escalated incidents.
- Direct intervention on ICT infrastructure (Servers, workstations).
- Preparation and test of new reference configurations (CRB) for any supported hardware, integration & testing of new software versions, service packs, configuration changes.
- On-site installation/migration/repair missions in delegations.
- Operate in accordance with the defined ITIL processes and procedures (incident, change, problem, etc)
- Participate in the 2nd Level on-call standby service.
Other aspects of the role include:
- Operations Role - Participate in the 3rd Level on-call standby service.
- Project Management - Serve as technical lead for designing, planning, assessing, implementing and/or migrating of the production environment for HQ and Delegations; Implementation of test environment and "Proof of Concept" (POC).
- Component Coordination Role - Quality, Planning, ITIL Process, Management of central monitoring infrastructure, Writing operational guidelines for the system administrators, Participation in training seminars for IT officers.
Specific Knowledge: Nutanix certification is mandatory

- Connectivity - Fiber Channel - Flex 10
- DAS FAS NAS SAN in-depth operational level
- Virtualisation Specific: vSphere versions (vSphere 3.x, vSphere 4.x, vSphere 5.x), vSphere storage (DAS, NAS, SAN), vSphere network
- Vmware tools, in general
- Windows 2003, 2008 Server and Active Directory
- Linux Redhat
- TCP/IP protocol and related services in a Windows 2003, 2008 environment: DNS, DHCP, WINS.
Certifications: AT LEAST one technical certification in their area of expertise, besides ITIL v.3 foundation certification.
Language: Fluent (C1/C2) in English
