Description
My client are a prestigious government organisation based in Cardiff. They're seeking a Junior Economist on a full time, six month contract basis, with the possibility of extension.
The role is paying between £14.50 - £19.50 per hour, depending on experience/educational background.
Relevant Qualifications Skills and Experience:
A first or upper second-class honours degree in economics (at least 50% of the course modules must be in economics); or
- a postgraduate degree in economics. If your first degree is not in economics or is a second class honours, your Masters will need to be in straight economics.
- You must have studied both macro and microeconomics.
- You must provide details of all modules completed, together with grades and credits across all years in university.
Competencies and Desired Skills:
- Working on own initiative
- Organising and prioritising time
- Data Analysis
- Some roles will require experience of using STATA for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience using R (desirable)
